Rachel Ward, is a senior carer with over 20 years’ experience, She is acutely aware of the difficulties many people or organisations face in trying to find carers. In response she has setup Rachel Ward Carers.

Rachel has lived in the United Kingdom for over 30 years. As a young girl she lived in Tanzania. Here there is a strong family culture where younger family members look after the elderly. This is the culture she was brought up in and she is highly motivated to help others. Seeing people living a happy life gives her a great deal of satisfaction.

Rachel is a qualified and fully trained. In addition to providing basic care, she can help people with a range of conditions, including disabilities or age related conditions such as dementia.

In addition to providing care services, Rachel runs a charitable organisation in Tanzania. This provides educational materials to the younger children of needy families. A charity she funds out of her own pocket.
